I Lovey NY by Brad Ascalon

I LOVEY NY, Brad Ascalon for Reclaim NYC

The original Lovey table, which Brad Ascalon designed for Ligne Roset in 2011, was donated for the cause by Lori Bruno, the owner of the Soho Ligne Roset showroom. The reclaimed cyprus wood was supplied by Tinsman Brothers lumber yard in Lumberville, Pennsylvania, oldest lumber yard in the country, founded in 1766. Furniture maker Kevin Burns helped me construct and assemble the table, while his friend and colleague Daniel Quinn allowed us access to his Brooklyn workshop to do the fabrication. In the face of hardship and tragedy, just as this table came together, so has community, proving that we all LOVEY NY.
